Rows of mountain ridges recede into the distance from the summit of Flattop Mountain, in Alaska’s Chugach State Park. The west summit of McHugh peak is in the close background, while the more distant ridges are in the Kenai Mountains.

Flying with my dad is always a joy. We took up some friends of ours to Knik Glacier just East of Anchorage. Was a great flight with beautiful scenery.

I took this cool photo back in March of this year. I traveled up to Talkeetna, Alaska to see the Northern Lights and to my surprise this bridge ran right through the town. This bridge is used by the famous Alaskan Railroad Company. It was very cold this night, but is was also worth it. I’m on IG @bryangoffphoto Stop by and say hi!

Flying over Denali National Park gives an opportunity to see the majesty of nature. These glacial cracks show the deep turquoise water that runs horizontal in the valleys between the massive mountains. In all the whiteness of snow and ice, the color grabbed me to photograph them.

Canoe camping on Byers Lake, in Alaska’s Denali State Park. There is a large campground on the highway side of Byers Lake, and several canoe-camping (or walk-in) spots at the far end of the lake.
